I had fun in Koln, [Germany]; the city that do not sleep recently [check FOTOS]. The party vibes, the singing Germans for their bachelor fellow who was getting married the next day, the loudest "Imagine" song of John Lennon in the background while we were playing pool in a bar all reminded me of home, Katutura...the part of Windhoek city which also do not sleep.
before Koln, i had to go to Frankfurt Airport first, to say goodbye to my good friend Jen who was leaving for Namibia. We had a priceless chat before her flight took off. Frankfurt Airport seems to have become a symbol of good memories.
the weekend after Koln, i found myself in Zurich, the fashionable and most beautiful city of Switzerland. I couched with a friend's family. The open air party through out the weekend, the visit to the the three FIFA houses, the walks by the lake, the circus show, the museum, and the Frau Munster...were totally wicked [more FOTOS]. what is even more humbling and mind blowing is the email i got from my friend's mother. She took me to the museum and this is what she said afterwards...
"...thank you so much for your being with us and the wonderful gifts you sent to us. It was a gift having you in my house with all the interesting talks with you. You gave me a path to a new unknown country, Namibia! I would really like to see it. And i got like a Namibian son with you..."
